Day 2 part 2...diving at Lankan, the manta site !

Mr M and I had to do a refreshment dive today since we haven't been diving within 6 months...
so we jumped on the dive boat this afternoon and went to Lankan dive site, the manta point ! a 30 minute boat ride from our island to get refreshed...and did we ever...
I'm not an experienced diver, nor a photographer, but this was a best ever dive. On a scale from one to ten...this was a 12 !
we got in and got down to about 16 meters and saw our first white tipped reef shark, maybe a meter -a meter and a half...a minute later another one ....then within a couple of minutes we saw this huge manta ray flying in from the left side of us and then kept on flying in front of us ...incredible creatures....they can be up to 7 meters from tip to tip of the wings....then we saw shark ( again )
giant turtles, murray eels, napoleon fish BIG one , unicorn fishes, BIG trigger fishes...
and loads more fish species and corals....and we got to go inside this shell - cave !
WHAT A DIVE !!!
45 minute drift dive, deepest depth 21 meters, cave, manta, sharks turtles etc etc..
only minus was the visibility...but at this time of year with the monsoon....on the other hand if you go when the visibility is up to 60 meters !....no mantas !

here are some of species from the dive...remember unexperienced underwater photographer and we are actually at up to 21 meters down....and I tell you .....to get the fishes to pose for your camera is extremely difficult...I tried but they just didn't listen....

I feel really refreshed now...at least when it comes to diving....otherwise I'm sitting here feeling the boat ride in my head...the waves are rolling around in my head....I better get this old body into the bed because tomorrow we're doing two dives....bigger sharks ? or....?
